The European Union (EU) has announced a call for proposals for the 2020 Aid to Uprooted People Thailand.

The European Union (ELT) has been supporting the camps with humanitarian and development assistance amounting to almost EUR 200 million since 1995 and EU assistance continues to this day through the regional facility Aid to Uprooted People (ALT).

Objectives & Priority Issues

The global objective of this call for proposals is: to contribute to a long-term solution to the challenges encountered by the Myanmar refugees living in 9 camps along the Myanmar border.

The specific objectives of this call for proposals are: to continue with the provision of basic services in the refugee camps in Thailand, while preparing Myanmar refugees for a voluntary return.
