One Health approach for Food Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture

With the generous support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Agua Fund, The First Nations Development Institute (First Nations) is currently seeking applications for its “Native Agriculture and Food Systems Initiative (NAFSI)” to increase access to healthy and fresh foods for vulnerable children, families and communities.

First Nations support projects that aim to strengthen local food-system control; increase access to local, healthy and traditional foods; and decrease food insecurity and food deserts, all with an emphasis on serving Native American children and families.

Funding Information

Total requests for project budgets within this funding opportunity should not exceed $35,000.
