Funding available for Civil Society Organisations in South Africa

CFPs: Mission Mozambique American Spaces Programming

Deadline: 22-Oct-23

Are you a civil society organisation? Are you engaged in social impact actions in the townships? Are you duly registered in South Africa? If yes, then apply for LIFSA funding now!

LIFSA is an initiative of the Government of the Principality of Monaco in partnership with the Alliance Française of Johannesburg and with the support of ILLIS Monaco, the Embassy of France in South Africa and the Embassy of Switzerland in South Africa.

The fund works together with its partners and beneficiaries for the benefit of civil society in the townships of Johannesburg targeting children (under six years old), youth and women.

This initiative takes place in a context where poverty and unemployment in South African townships, amplified by the health crisis, has reduced the capacity of local associations to help the most vulnerable populations, especially children and girls. Based on the strength of its experience in financing micro-projects for civil society, the Government of the Principality of Monaco has entrusted the management of the call for proposals to the Alliance Française of Johannesburg.

LIFSA aims to identify and support targeted, small-scale, community-based initiatives for vulnerable children, youth and women in Johannesburg townships.
