Funding Opportunity for Voluntary and Community Organisations across BNSSG (UK)

Berrybank Wind Farm Community Grants Program in Australia

Deadline: 16-Sep-22

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board is seeking applications for its Community Boost Grants Programme.

The Community Boost grants programme is a one-off funding opportunity being offered by Healthier Together and administered by Age UK Bristol. The grants are intended to support local communities to set up their own activities or projects that will benefit people experiencing or at risk of poor health – whether that is due to long-term health conditions, significant life events, marginalisation or discrimination, stress, lack of financial security, or being unable to access opportunities for exercise or healthy meals. The money for this funding has come from the NHS Inequalities Improvement Programme.

Although Age UK Bristol is administering the grants, projects do not need to focus on older people. The Community Boost grants will support organisations, groups and individuals running projects and activities that improve the wellbeing of younger people, older people, families, or people of all ages in the BNSSG area. Applications are scored and funding awarded by a citizens’ panel.
