Cultural Survival has announced a call for proposals to provide funds for Radio Transmitters and/or Primary Equipment.

Purpose of this call is to strengthen the work of Indigenous women journalists in the stations where they work, collaborate, direct, participate, and organize. In addition, Cultural Survival aims to strengthen on air efforts that promote the use of their Indigenous mother tongues through the purchase of transmitters and/or complementary radio equipment.

Cultural Survival is an Indigenous non-profit organization that supports Indigenous community radio initiatives in different parts of the world with grants that strengthen the capabilities of these important communication platforms and serve as media for information, opinion, education, culture and languages of Indigenous Peoples from their own philosophies, histories, rights and desires.

Funding Information

For this call the budget is limited to USD 4,000.00 dollars.
