Future 2 Foundation is accepting applications for its Make the Difference Grants Program to assist young people to realize their full potential.
Financial planners support Future2 through volunteer work, raising funds and nominating grassroots not-for-profit organisations for Future2 Make the Difference! grants.
Future2 grants are directed at grassroots programs supporting young Australians aged between 12 – 25 years old who are experiencing social, financial or physical hardship.
Areas
- Education: Including skills training and leadership development
- Engagement: Including mentoring and juvenile justice programs
- Employment: Including work experience and job readiness training
- Well-Being: Including remedial programs for drug and alcohol dependence
- Independent living: Including addressing social exclusion and homelessness
Funding Information
Upto $10K for a one year grant
Supported Projects
Future2 Make the Difference Grants support projects and programs that assist young Australians who may be:
- Living in poverty
- Homeless
- At risk of juvenile justice or transitioning out of it
- Intellectually or physically disabled
- Socially isolated
- Living in dysfunctional family situations
- Fighting substance abuse
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications to receive grant funding are invited from organisations that have programs to address the needs of disadvantaged young Australians.
- Every application must be supported by a financial planner who is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA).
