The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs (OES) Office of Science and Technology Cooperation (STC) announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that foster science, technology, and innovation cooperation in the South Caucasus.

The OES-led Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) Initiative catalyzes science, technology, and innovation (STI) activities that support the Administration’s economic and national security goals.

Goal: The goal of this cooperative agreement is to utilize GIST to strengthen the capacity of STI innovators and entrepreneurs in the South Caucasus region and the innovation ecosystems in which they operate. GIST aims to strengthen the economies of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia and form stronger U.S. business connections.
