The Global Orphan Foundation is seeking applications for its “Camie’s Hope Adoption Assistance Grant” to support the adopting family.
Global Orphan Foundation is an Indianapolis based non-profit with a global mission to advocate on behalf of orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide and respond with action.
Funding Information
- Grants will be awarded in amounts varying from $500 to $3,000. The average family receives $1,200. Checks in the awarded amount will be written out and mailed directly to your adoption agency.
- Grants must be utilized within 12 months of the awarded date.
Eligibility Criteria
- All US citizens can apply. Qualified applicants will not be judged on marital status, race, religion, sexual orientation or national origin.
- Applications for families adopting from the areas where we focus our orphan care and orphanage support programs: Africa, Central America, Samoa and the Caribbean will only be consider.
- Family members and close personal friends or connections of the board or staff may apply for grants, but must disclose the connection on their application. The board or staff member will recuse himself or herself from voting.
- If at any time a recipient terminates their adoption plans (in the case of natural pregnancy, divorce, etc) the remaining grant money will be forfeited and will return to the Global Orphan Foundation for future distribution.
- A family may apply for an Adoption Assistance Grant up to two (2) times per adoption, receiving more than one grant when need is documented.
- Incomplete and/or unsigned applications will not be considered.
