The Cumbria Community Foundation is offering Cumberland and Westmorland Herald Fund Grants for charitable not-for-profit groups benefiting people living in the Cumberland & Westmorland Herald’s main circulation area, including Penrith, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Kirkby Stephen and Alston.
Funding Information
Grants will normally be between £ 500 – £ 1,000 over one year.
Eligible Projects
Examples of projects supported:
- riding works hops and sessions for the disabled
- improvement of community buildings
- exercise classes for older people
- camping equipment for a young people’s group
- sporting activities for the disabled
Eligibility Criteria
Charitable not-for-profit groups benefiting people living in the Cumberland & Westmorland Herald’s main circulation area, including Penrith, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Kirkby Stephen and Alston.
