Harold Mitchell Foundation: Inviting Applications for Community Grants Scheme

Deadline: 23 September 2018

The Harold Mitchell Foundation is inviting applications for its Community Grants Scheme.

The theme for this year’s grants is “Supporting access to programs that help children and young adults who are socially isolated as a result of mental health problems or poverty to engage with their communities”.

Applications will be judged on their creativity and innovation, the appropriateness of their target group, their level of impact, their overall quality, their value for money and their consistency with the funding criteria.

The Harold Mitchell Foundation funds programs in health, education and the arts that make a difference in Australia and their region. They do not provide funding to individuals, and organisations who receive their funding must be endorsed as both a tax concession charity and a deductable gift recipient.

Funding Information

Under this scheme, they invite applications from the community for grants of $10,000 or less to fund projects that reflect a theme.
