The Hinkley Point C Community Fund welcomes applications from registered charities, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and Parish Councils, Town Councils, District Councils and the County Council.
Grants will be awarded for projects, measures or initiatives that help to mitigate impacts felt in your community from the construction of Hinkley Point C or which help members of the community to access its opportunities.
Funding Information
- Grants from £5,000 to £49,999 are available to charities, voluntary groups, and social enterprises.
- Grants for projects over £50,000 are available to charities, voluntary groups, and social enterprises.
Criteria
You can apply for capital and revenue costs.
- At the current time they are particularly interested in:
- Applications that include support for people to access education, skills or employment opportunities by overcoming:
- Personal barriers such as mental health or a lack of digital skills; and/or
- Other barriers such as transport, caring responsibilities or poor broadband.
- Applications that build community transport provision into their projects or provide new transport solutions to ensure that more socially and geographically isolated people can access essential services.
- Applications that improve the community environment or use the environment as a catalyst for change in peoples’ lives.
