IJP’s German-American Journalism Grant Program

Deadline: 31-Jan-23

The International Journalists Programme (IJP) is seeking applications for the German-American Journalism Grant.

The program bears the name of former US Ambassador to Germany and Federal Reserve Board Chairman Arthur F. Burns. Every year, the program enables twenty journalists from Germany, Canada and the USA to gain professional and personal experience in the host country as part of a work grant.

The scholarship holders work for at least two months in a guest editorship of their choice and at the same time have the opportunity to report as correspondents for their home media. In this way they gain an intensive impression of politics, economy and culture as well as of social life and daily journalistic business in the host country.
