Call for Bids: Promoting Education on Consent in Romania

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified entities to implement a new activity “Improving Pathways to Education (IPE)” program.

The purpose of the IPE Activity is to increase access to safe learning environments, and to relevant, and quality basic education for children and youth, particularly the most marginalized in communities with high violence and outmigration targeted by USAID.

This Activity will aim to ensure that students’ progress through the higher grades of basic education, allowing them to continue their secondary acquisition with strong foundational skills in reading, math, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).

The overall goal of the IPE Activity is to increase access to safe, relevant, and quality basic education for at least 300,000 children and youth in Honduras, particularly students living in areas with high rates of violence and irregular migration.

Funding Information

Subject to funding availability and at the discretion of the Agency, USAID intends to provide US$80,000,000.00 in total USAID funding over a Five (5) year period.

Expected Outcomes

The IPE Activity will increase access to safe, quality basic education for children and youth by improving socio-economic opportunities, contributing to the multi-sectoral impacts of violence prevention efforts, and decreasing irregular migration. This will be achieved through evidence informed interventions under three results.
