IOOF Foundation’s Grant: Supporting Australian Not-for-profit Organisations

The IOOF Foundation is seeking applications for its 2018 Grant Funding Program to support Australian not-for-profit organisations working with disadvantaged families, disadvantaged children and youth and aged care.

The Foundation is committed to creating opportunities for disadvantaged families, youth and the aged, by investing in initiatives that improve quality of life and help others achieve their potential to meaningfully participate in the community.

Focus Areas

• Aged care
  • The Foundation will be giving priority to program’s that are committed to providing the quality of life for individuals and their families with progressive neurological and physical diseases.
• Disadvantaged families
  • The Foundation’s basic needs program, supports community groups that are assisting families that are struggling to be self-sufficient and support long-term priorities solutions that help families move out of poverty or avoid a crisis.
• Disadvantaged children and youth
  • The Foundation supports education projects that help break the cycle of disadvantage and empower young Australians to reach their potential. Priority will be given to applications addressing:
    • Prevention and early intervention,
    • Education, employment and training for young people.

Funding Information

• The general grant program is for funding of up to $30,000 per year for up to two years.
• Grants range from $10,000 – $120,000 pa.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for funding from IOOF Foundation, applicant’s charitable organisation must have an Australian Taxation Office Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement. Please ensure that applicant’s organisation has DGR status before submitting their application.
• Grants will be considered for organisations represented in any Australian State or Territory.
