Julia Taft Refugee Fund – Rwanda

Julia Taft Refugee Fund - Rwanda

Deadline: 04-Mar-2024

Embassy Kigali, under the auspices of the Office of the Regional Refugee Coordinator, is pleased to welcome proposals for the Julia Taft Refugee Fund to support one-time, low-cost interventions that address important gaps in protection and assistance for refugees and persons at risk of statelessness or stateless persons.

The Julia Taft Refugee Fund is an initiative by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) to respond to critical unmet needs of refugees.  Created in 2000, the Julia Taft Refugee Fund awards grants with the goal of supporting one-time interventions that respond to gaps in refugee services.  The Julia Taft Refugee Fund supports projects not already being addressed by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) or other international organizations.
