Applications are open for LIBOR Funding that supports the Armed Forces and Emergency Services communities.
Categories
The LIBOR Fund will support projects that benefit people from one or more of these categories:
- Serving members of the Armed Forces
- Family members of those serving in the Armed Forces
- Veterans of the Armed Forces
- Serving Emergency Services personnel
- Family members of Emergency Services personnel
- Former and retired Emergency Services personnel
Funding Information
- A project providing support to Armed Forces Families: £80,000
- A project to refurbish a centre for older veterans to run support projects and activities to improve wellbeing: £400,000
- A project to provide support to Emergency Service Workers: £270,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Only the following types of organisation are eligible to apply
- a registered charity
- a Community Interest Company or
- an Armed Forces unit with a Unit Identification Number (UIN)
- Eligible organisations can work with statutory or private sector organisations to deliver their project, but must be the lead applicant.
- We cannot fund the following activities:
- Topping up existing grants and aids from another Government Department.
- Where money only benefits one person.
- Repeat or regular projects that require a source of uncommitted funding.
- Paying for ongoing costs of existing partnership act
- Organisational fundraising activities.
- Projects, activities or services that the State has a legal obligation to provide.
- Retrospective funding for projects that have already taken place.
- Excessive contingency costs; management or professional fees.
