The Lyle’s Local Fund, has been set up by Tate & Lyle Sugars, and administered in partnership with the London Borough of Newham, to support projects that help to create local communities in Newham that are safe, prosperous and healthy.
Tate & Lyle Sugars has a long history of supporting the local community of Newham, dating back to the 19th Century and the philanthropy of co-founders Henry Tate and Abram Lyle. Today, The Lyle’s Local Fund complements the company’s existing community engagement programme of support for local charities, volunteering and in-kind support. The Lyle’s Local Fund has been running since 2017. Since then, it has awarded over £150,000 to over 90 projects to make Newham a safer, healthier and more prosperous place.
Funding Information
Grants of up to £2,500 will be available.
Eligibility Criteria
The community fund is open to not-for-profit organisations, such as social enterprises, schools, charities and community groups, who are based in Newham and whose work benefits the residents of Newham.
