The U.S. Embassy Moscow’s Public Affairs Section (PAS) is pleased to announce Media and Information Grant Program for Nonprofits and CSOs in Russia in Russia, which supports American and Russian engagement in the area of traditional and citizen journalism, press freedom, and media literacy.

PAS Moscow invites proposals for projects that promote an understanding of freedom of the press, good journalistic practices, increased access to reliable information, and improved media literacy for the Russian people. The proposal can also promote a broader understanding of a free press and society’s need for free access to information. Competitive proposals should also include a connection with American expert(s), organization(s), or institution(s) that will promote increased cooperation between the people of the United States and Russia even after the program has ended.
