NRC’s Aging in Place Challenge Program and CIHR-IA joint Funding Call in Canada

The Government of Canada is pleased to launch the National Research Council of Canada’s (NRC’s) Aging in Place Challenge program and Canadian Institutes of Health Research – Institute of Aging (CIHR-IA) joint funding call to seek technological solutions to assist older adults with mental health conditions and/or those who experience social isolation so they can live well in the community.

For the purpose of this call, technological solutions are defined as devices or interventions that are enabled or enhanced by technology. This call is open to development of novel technologies, or research investigating novel application of existing technologies.
