One Community Hirst Brierley Fund in the UK

Joint CFPs to Carry Out a Cooperation Programme between Québec and Wales 2022

Deadline: 30-Jun-22

The One Community is inviting applications for its grant program to support activities that will reduce climate change, for example through energy efficiency, renewable energy or creation and management of green spaces.

Climate change and lack of bio-diversity present major threats to human wellbeing both locally and around the world. These problems will have direct impacts locally, through increased flooding and extreme weather events, and also indirect effects from resource shortages and population pressures as parts of the world become more difficult to live in.

Actions to reduce climate change can also have positive effects on the local environment and benefits to the health and comfort of local people.

Funding Information

The fund will provide grants of up to £3000 to fund in whole or in part projects such as:

Grant applications should tell them how the project will reduce climate change, and what other benefits it will have for the global and local environment or local communities.
