- Improved mental and physical health and wellbeing for young people and families (workshops, food banks)
- Better community cohesion (content and events for the community); community pride (film productions, blogs, content) and
- Lessening loneliness and isolation (outreach project, intergenerational community arts)
Funding Information
- They will be providing approximately £70,000 of funding to support this round of the Small Grants funding.
- This exciting opportunity will grant up to £7,000 to kick start community projects in the OPDC area.
Deliverables
- Deliverables are the output and outcomes which help evidence the impact of your project:
- Outputs measure the benefits that specific projects or programmes deliver for target beneficiaries (individuals, businesses, stakeholders, and other groups) and areas. Clearly defined outputs quantify the impact and measure the benefits generated through expenditure.
- Outcomes are the result of outputs – they are longer term measures that indicate whether project goals are being met. They are specific, measurable, and meaningful. Outcomes are the events, occurrences, or changes, that indicate progress toward a project’s goals.
Eligibility Criteria
- They are looking for residents, businesses, organisations, and community groups who are already working within the community or are looking to make a difference to the local community.
- They are inviting proposals from community groups, individuals, charities, community organisations and others who currently work or are looking to work with communities in the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham.
- To apply for funding, you need to be a public, third-sector organisation, community group, or community interest organisation who will work closely with the local community to achieve the aims set out in the objectives.
- Applicants will need to make clear their link to the local area and why their organisation is able to understand and respond to the needs of local communities.
- For larger projects, they strongly encourage partnerships that bring together multiple organisations, for example, developers, workspace providers, community groups, social enterprises, small and medium sized enterprises, cultural institutions, community businesses, faith groups and charities. Your application should highlight the distinct strengths of your members and who will be responsible for what.
- If you are applying as a partnership, you will need to identify one organisation to act as the lead organisation. This organisation will be responsible for overseeing the project and must be capable of entering into a grant agreement with the OPDC.
