Deadline: 10-Nov-21
Mobilising More for Climate (MoMo4C) is now open for applications to bring together entrepreneurs, corporates, policymakers, investors and civil society organizations to make green business propositions. Mobilising More for Climate (MoMo4C) is a five-year program (2020-2024) organized by IUCN, Tropenbos International, and WWF.
Through Calls for Business Proposals, WWF identifies and selects business cases with a high potential of addressing landscape challenges. These should tackle the impacts and causes of climate change at a landscape level in developing countries, contribute to climate-resilience and (gender) inclusive, sustainable development in the landscapes where they are proposed, and attract investments to implement these initiatives.
Proposals will be assessed by panels of financial experts that each landscape will set up. The best proposals receive support in business case development and/or technical assistance. The best business cases that come out of the different MoMo4C landscapes will be presented to potential investors in special match-making events. The very top of these selected proposals, that in later stages of the programme are suitable for scaling up and attracting larger (international) investments, will be invited to take part in Dragons’ Dens that MoMo4C will organise at global business and finance events.
