The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is accepting applications for its Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Data Analysis Center.
The Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program plans to extend and expand the ECHO Cohort in its next phase (2023-2029) to further investigate the roles of a broad range of early exposures from society to biology, including the preconception period, on ECHO’s five key child health outcomes among diverse populations.
Objectives
The objective of this FOA is to solicit applications for an ECHO Data Analysis Center to provide the data repository and the data analysis functions for all ECHO Cohort consortium activities. The ECHO Cohort Data Analysis Center specific aims should address the following objectives:
- lead, standardize, and integrate ECHO Cohort Protocol data capture, management, and storage through a central data system;
- provide analytic support and expertise to analysis proposals approved by the ECHO Cohort consortium; and
- enrich research infrastructure and data science to facilitate broader sharing of ECHO Cohort data and resources with the scientific community.
Funding Information
- NIH intends to commit up to $14,500,000 Total Costs in FY 2023 to fund one award. Future year amounts will depend on annual appropriations.
- The project period is 7 years.
