The Ministry of Culture of Latvia (hereinafter – the Ministry) as the Programme “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Cultural Cooperation” (hereinafter – Programme) Partner has announced an open call to support for the Creation of Professional Art and Cultural Products for Children and Youth to provide support for the development of cultural and artistic events that improve the accessibility of professional contemporary art and culture to the target group in all regions of Latvia, and to increase the involvement of the target group in art and culture.
The main ambition of this Call is to support the co-creation of products of professional contemporary arts and culture and audience development in all regions in Latvia.
Co-creation of new content/new products is envisaged in cooperation with donor project partners and engaging the target group, children and youth aged six to 18. The engagement of the public – representatives of the local community, educational institutions, municipalities and NGOs – is also anticipated. New cultural products in all genres (e.g., plays, performances, concerts, prose and poetry readings, exhibitions, master classes, workshops, etc.) will be supported.

- Grant to be applied for: EUR 100,000 – EUR 250,000
Eligibility Criteria
- A legal entity of public or private law of the Republic of Latvia, an authority of direct or indirect administration (except a municipality or a municipal authority), whose main activity is in the cultural or creative sector of Regulation (EU) No. 1295/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 establishing the Creative Europe Programme (2014 to 2020) and repealing Decisions No. 1718/2006/EC, No. 1855/2006/EC and No. 1041/2009/EC (hereinafter – Regulation No. 1295/2013.
- A municipality or a municipal authority of the Republic of Latvia in partnership with a cultural organisation which is a legal entity of public or private law of the Republic of Latvia, an authority of direct or indirect administration whose main activity is in the cultural or creative sector of Regulation No. 1295/2013.
