Branch of the International Organization of the Open Society Institute – Assistance Foundation in Tajikistan has announced a grant competition among public organizations, creative associations, initiative groups and individuals / activists to support ideas that reflect a wide range of social problems, namely: issues of domestic violence, violation of civil rights on access to economic and social benefits, to combat unenlightened / illiterate, corruption, discrimination and so on. in various forms of art/media products (performances, performances, video clips, short feature films and documentaries, educational events) aimed at strengthening civil initiatives that promote social change and the development of freedom of expression.
Funding Information
The requested amount for project activities should not exceed $ 5,000 (equivalent in national currency at the time of application).
Evaluation Criteria
Evaluation criteria for applications:
- the social importance of the subject concerned;
- inclusiveness;
- innovation;
- compliance with the values of an “open society”;
- promoting the development of freedom of expression;
- compliance with the proposed budget;
