The Oxford City Council is pleased to announce the Oxford Community Impact Fund (OCIF) Small and Medium Grants.
They are looking for this grant programme to help deliver the following key interconnected priorities, in line with the Council’s Strategy:
- Support thriving communities
- Enable an inclusive economy
- Pursue a zero carbon Oxford
- Deliver more, affordable housing
Funding Information
- The total annual value of these grants is £84,000 per year.
- Round 3: £16,000
- Small and Medium Grants offer funding of up to £5,000. There is one more round of funding in 2022/23
Eligible Activities
- staff costs
- development work (testing new ways of working, staff training and development, developing governance, tech or IT upgrades/purchases, sharing learning)
- transport
- Utilities/running costs
- Volunteer expenses
- equipment
- Capital costs (They can consider funding capital costs but do not anticipate these costs will be a significant amount of the proposed budget)
Eligibility Criteria
- Not-for-profit organisations can apply for up to £5,000 per Medium Grant and £1,000 per Small Grant in each round.
- Individuals can apply for up to £1,000 per Small Grant and cannot apply for Medium Grants. Individuals are also required to provide match funding (pound for pound of their funding request) to support their application. This could be through ticket sales, donations or other funding streams. You can apply even if this match funding is not secured, however they will not release funds until they have evidence of the match.
