PEPFAR Small Grants Program in Zambia

PEPFAR Small Grants for Nigeria: Notice of Funding Opportunity

Deadline: 28-Feb-22

The U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce a new round of funding for the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Small Grants Program.

The PEPFAR Small Grants Program is highly competitive and supports projects in three thematic areas: HIV prevention, the care of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), and projects that promote democracy and governance in Zambia’s HIV response. The HIV prevention-focused small grants will fund projects that mitigate the spread of HIV. The OVC-focused small grants will fund innovative projects that provide care and support to OVC and their households, so as to improve OVCs’ standards of living through financially sustainable, community-led projects. Lastly, the democracy and governance-focused small grants will fund projects that center democracy and governance in Zambia’s HIV response by supporting rights-based approaches, increased transparency, and strengthened collaboration with respect to HIV-related issues.
