The Novi Sad School of Journalism has opened a call for project proposals aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) to contribute to preserving and protecting media freedom and pluralism in the Western Balkans.
The call for proposals is open to civil society organizations in Serbia dealing with media, education, human rights and gender equality programs. Priority will be given to projects in which there is a partnership with other civil society organizations.
This call for proposals is part of the regional project ” Strong “, which is being implemented with the support of the European Union in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo *, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
Funding Information
- The total amount available under this Call for Proposals is € 36,000.
- The grant requested must be between a minimum of € 3,000 and a maximum of € 9,000. Co-financing of the project by the project applicant (or partner) is not mandatory.
- The duration of the project must be between 9 and 18 months.
Project activities must primarily be carried out in small towns and rural areas .
The application process includes two steps
- Submission, evaluation and selection of Project Proposal Concepts (open call)
- Submission, evaluation and selection process of Complete Project Proposals (closed call)
The deadline for submitting the Project Proposal Concept is 08.10.2020 by 24:00.
