UN Women has announced a call for applications for responsible parties (Responsible parties) within the framework of the Project “Creating new avenues of resilience to sustain peace from Kaqchiqueles, Q’eqchi’s and mestizo women”, component leaders and inter-institutional coordination for the increase of access to justice.
The CFP aims to support indigenous and mestizo women peacebuilders to disrupt drivers of conflict including hate speech, violence, and repressive tactics in traditional and new terrains, such as the cyberterritories. Building upon their strengths and resilience, it also addresses the need to support women’s political social and their participation in public affairs, as a critical element to prevent and respond to conflict and post-conflict sexual violence and to sustain gains in attaining justice.
The organization will be responsible for executing activities that contribute to the development of products to achieve the project results, as well as the scope of their corresponding indicators, ensuring the coordinated work, empowerment, and leadership of women, who are to the center of the project. The activities of the proposal must have coverage in the departments of Chimaltenango, Alta Verapaz and Guatemala.
Result 1: Indigenous and mestizo women, peacemakers and pioneers, are empowered as protagonists to disrupt the drivers of conflict, including hate speech, violence and repressive tactics.
Output 1.2: Intergenerational and multicultural transformative initiatives created to disrupt the hate speech and promote urban, rural and cyber protection strategies.

Competences
Required technical/functional skills
- International non-governmental organization or consortium of non-governmental organizations, with technical personnel, specialized in human rights, women’s rights, rights of children. With demonstrable experience in accompanying processes for implementation and management of international cooperation projects, providing training, technical assistance, and support in processes related to disappearance, cybercrime, sexual violence, exploitation, and other forms of violence against women and girls, their prevention and protection; and management of subsidies.
- Technical and multidisciplinary team for the implementation of the Project with work experience in the project intervention area, command of local languages ?? and knowledge of the local context.
- Experience in the articulation of alliances with international and local actors, institutions public sector security and justice, with the private sector, academia, enforcement agencies of the law, and non-governmental organizations.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing publications, systematization documents, and Knowledge product related to the project intervention area.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing financial reports, reports of the use of the funds, management of supporting accounting documentation.
- Other competencies that, although not required, can be very useful for the provision of services
- Experience in capacity building/implementation of initiatives with organizations of women.
