Call for EOIs: Deliver Integrated Early Childhood Development Services under the EU Human Development Programme (Zambia)

Save the Children is pleased to announce the Call for Expressions of Interest for the Sida Funded programme – Driving Sustainable change for Child Rights in Zambia for local vibrant, experienced and effective Civil Society Organizations, Community Based/Faith Based Organizations to implement child focused programmes in the mentioned districts for this programme with potential to, implement creative and effective programs.

These should be in multi-faceted child focused interventions anchored on child rights governance themes that would contribute to enhancing the promotion and fulfilments of children’s rights agenda in the targeted provinces and districts.

The project will be implemented for a period of three years (2020-2023). The project is aimed at ensuring that Zambia has adequate space for girls and boys, women and men to participate and influence in national planning and implementation processes through community-based social accountability, public investment in children’s rights and holding government accountable for children’s rights.

Save the Children has secured funding from the Swedish Embassy for the implementation of Driving Sustainable Change for Children Rights (DSCCR) Project in seven provinces in Zambia. These are Lusaka (Lusaka urban and rural, Kafue, Rufunsa); Copperbelt (Lufwanyama, Masaiti, Ndola); Southern (Choma, Gwembe Livingstone); Western (Kalabo, Mongu, Sioma, Shangombo); Eastern (Chipata, Katete, Chadiza); Luapula (Mansa, Nchelenge) and Northern (Kasama, Mbala).

Thematic Priorities

SC will fund applications in the areas which address identified needs of the target areas anchored on the Child Rights Governance (CRG) theme addressing one or more of the 3 objectives listed below:
