Deadline: 21-May-21
The Seattle Foundation is seeking applications for its East King County Community Fund to support vulnerable residents of the Eastside navigating the health and economic impacts of COVID and ignite powerful, rewarding philanthropy to make Greater Seattle a stronger, more vibrant community for all.
As the impact of COVID-19 continues to unfold, community-based organizations play a critical role in providing services to those most impacted by the pandemic.
Organizations on the front lines of the pandemic are navigating increased need for services, working longer hours, and being asked to do more with less funding.
To help address these challenges, the East King County Community Fund will provide general operating support grants to organizations supporting the immediate and sustained needs of East King County residents who are navigating the health and economic impacts of COVID.
Focus Areas
- Programmatic efforts may address a variety of issues including: food security, housing and rental assistance, childcare, education, employment, healthcare, and mental and behavioral health.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Fund will prioritize funding to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) led and serving organizations located in the geographic region of East King County (1-90 from Mercer Island east to the county line and north to the county line).
