The Suffolk Community Foundation is pleased to announce Simpson Fund that aims to support the work of grassroots organisations providing services, support or advice to older people.

The fund particularly likes to focus on supporting those with hearing and/or visual impairment, access to transport or addressing rural isolation.

Funding Information

Grants up to £2,000 are available to support the work of grassroots organisations providing services, support or advice to older people aged 70 and over.

Eligibility Criteria

Note: Your constitution must also include a Dissolution Clause i.e. what happens to the group’s assets if it ceases to operate. This clause should state that any assets remaining after the settlement of debts will be transferred to an organisation with similar charitable purposes, and not distributed among members. Articles of Association for CICs must contain a named Asset Lock.
