The UN Joint Program “Strengthening Human Rights on Both Banks of the Dniester ” has announced the Round 2 of Grant Program for mobilization of vulnerable groups on the left bank of the Dniester River.

Joint UN program “Strengthening human rights on both banks of the Dniester” is carried out by the UN Representation in the Republic of Moldova, with the financial support of Sweden, in partnership with civil society organizations, decision-makers and professionals on both banks of the Dniester River.

The program aims to promote a commitment to reforms aimed at respecting human rights in general and respecting the rights of persons with disabilities, children, Roma, people living with or suffering from HIV, the rights of detainees and persons in state custody, women and vulnerable children and the rights of drug users in particular, promoting the establishment of bilateral cooperation, exchange of knowledge and development, based on modern working methods, existing on both banks of the Dniester River.

To achieve this goal, the Joint UN Program “Strengthening human rights on both banks of the Dniester” launches round 2 of the small grants program, open to civil society organizations, registered on the right bank of the Dniester River or on both banks. The duration of the implementation of the projects, financed within this grant competition, will not exceed 12 months.
