The Community Foundation for Staffordshire is seeking applications for the Stafford Borough Council Small Grants that will award grants to organisations who provide facilities or services for people in the geographical area covered by Stafford Borough Council.
The Community Foundation for Staffordshire is an independent charity dedicated to strengthening local communities across Staffordshire and Shropshire. The foundation aim to tackle issues of disadvantage and exclusion through the building of permanent endowments and the allocation of grants.
Project Aims
Project must meet one of the following criteria:
- Benefit local residents
- Bring about a lasting benefit to members or the wider community
- Help to increase organisations sustainability or reach
Funding Information
Organisations may apply for grants between £100 and £1,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The foundation will support the following types of organisation:
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
- This fund will not offer funding to the following organisations:
- Non-constituted community groups
- Non-constituted voluntary groups
- Organisations that have been established less than 12 months
- Statutory organisations
- Public sector bodies
- Organisations that have a statutory responsibility
- Organisations that do not have a proven track record of service delivery
- Limited companies, sole traders or partnerships without charitable aims
- Organisations with an annual income of more than £100,000
- The foundation will support organisations based in, or working for the benefit of people in the following local authority areas:
- Stafford
- This fund cannot support organisations who are based in, or working in the following local authority areas:
- Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Newcastle under Lyme, South Staffordshire, Staffordshire Moorlands, Stoke on Trent or Tamworth
- Any area outside Staffordshire
