The Swansea Council for Voluntary Service (SCVS) is seeking applications for its Swansea North Active People Project (SNAPP) Grant Scheme that improves the physical activity and mental wellbeing of young people aged 11-16 years old in the Cwmtawe and Llwchwr areas of Swansea.
They are now offering grants to groups for activities that will have a positive impact on the wider community, and which ideally tackle one of the following areas: physical activity, mental health or wellbeing.
SNAPP are working with Swansea Youth Bank (a youth led grant giving panel) in relation to these grants to provide young people with the opportunity to have their say about funding for activities (physical activity) for young people in the areas of Cwmtawe and Llwchwr.
Funding Information
- £500 is the maximum that a project can apply for.
Duration
The terms and conditions of this Grant Agreement will prevail and remain in force as follows:
- So long as any grant funds remain unspent.
- Until a satisfactory End of Grant form has been received.
- In the case of capital assets acquired with the aid of grant funds, for the normal usable life of the asset concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
- The project must be delivered to young people (11-16 years old);
- Applicants’ project must encourage and support youth activity (not necessarily new opportunities);
- Applicants’ project must have a positive impact on the wider community and will ideally tackle one of the following areas: physical activity, mental health and wellbeing;
- Although please note, multiple applications from groups/organisations are welcome.
