The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust’s Grant Program is now open to charities and non-profit community organisations that support development of education, community projects, health and well-being, arts, culture and sport, principally for people living in east Kent, and in particular the District of Folkestone and Hythe.
The Trust is pleased to provide support for a wide range of charitable projects and organizations in Folkestone's neighboring towns Hythe and New Romney, as well as other parts of the Romney Marsh. add Ineligible Requests before eligiblity.
By focusing on a defined geographical area, and on projects that fit within well-defined criteria, the Trust aims to make a substantial impact on the community where it is based.

- Education
- Arts, culture and heritage
- Community development and regeneration
- Amateur sport
- Projects to support young people
- Health and welfare of older people
Eligibility Criteria
- The Trustees have previously identified those areas of medical research which are of interest to the Trust, and will not normally consider unsolicited applications from this sector.

The Trust will not consider applications for projects:
- that promote political or religious beliefs or causes;
- from or on behalf of animal welfare charities;
- from national charities, unless there is a significant benefit to a local (Kent) office or project.
- The Trust does not normally provide grants for projects outside the UK.
- Repeat applications from a single organisation within a twelve month period will not normally be considered.
- For capital projects applicants are asked to submit evidence that at least three competitive quotes have been obtained for the work that is proposed.
