Deadline: 13-May-2024
The Sovereign Network Group is excited to be working with The Big Help Out to help bring millions of people from across the UK to join in the biggest mass volunteering event of the year!
The Big Help Out takes place between the 7th and 9th June 2024, and will empower millions to volunteer to help support communities. Volunteering can promote intergenerational connection, bridge gaps within communities and utilise strengths of all ages. Making a difference in your community can also boost your wellbeing, enable people with different experiences to meet and develop long lasting connections.
The SNG ‘Big Help Out’ microgrants programme aims to empower volunteers in the communities, by bringing people and partners together with connection, different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
If you are taking part in a community initiative for The Big Help Out and could benefit from funding to support your activities, they would like to hear from you! Funding can support various community activities taking place during the Big Help Out weekend including events, workshops, community clean ups, fundraising and other activities that promote volunteering within your community!
