Tri-County Arts Council: Individual Artist Grant Program (United States)

Sector Innovation and Development Program (Canada)

Deadline: 15-Dec-20

The Tri-County Arts Council is accepting applications for the Individual Artist Grant Program to provide support for community-based arts & cultural activities.

Founded in 1977, The New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program (DEC) was developed to ensure New York State’s cultural funding reached every part of the state. In 2000, the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) appointed the Tri-County Arts Council (previously Cattaraugus County Arts Council) to administer the DEC Program for Cattaraugus, and soon after gained administration of Allegany and Chautauqua counties.

Tri-County Arts Council seeks proposals of high-artistic merit that will create the opportunity for the artist. Proposals will also be evaluated based on the level and degree of artistic and creative growth the project provides for the individual artist. Visual, literary, media, musical, multidimensional, and performing artists are all encouraged to apply.
