U.S. Department of Justice, OJJDP announces Internet Crimes against Children National Training Programme

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is seeking applications for funding under the fiscal year (FY) 2019 Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force National Training Program.

This program furthers the Department’s mission by helping state and local law enforcement agencies develop effective responses to sexual predators who entice children online, child sexual exploitation, and child obscenity and pornography cases.

Under this program, the goal is to design and deliver training to support the ICAC task force network that includes law enforcement, prosecutors, digital forensic specialists, and other related agencies/organizations. OJJDP is particularly interested in approaches that deliver effective, cost-efficient training through a combination of traditional classroom instruction and distance/online learning technologies. . Proposed approaches should clearly demonstrate the applicant’s knowledge, understanding, and experience in the following tasks:
