The U.S. Embassy Algiers Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce an open competition for concept notes for projects that would address societal issues in rural and developing areas.

This funding opportunity aims to strengthen ties between the United States and Algeria through projects that would assist government, civil society, private sector, community groups, and individuals in engaging vulnerable or underprivileged individuals in activities that benefit their local communities and prepare them to become future community leaders.

Respected community leaders, women, youth, religious figures, social workers, and educators are key groups to consider as project audiences.
