U.S. Embassy in Port Moresby: Seeking Proposals for Health Grants Program

The U.S. Embassy in Port Moresby has announced a new funding opportunity under the Health Grants Program which is made possible by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and is seeking to fund projects to combat stigma and discrimination (including violence) particularly associated with the key populations (KP) of female sex workers (FSW) and men that have sex with men (MSM) in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The overall objective of this round of the Health Grants Program is to increase the capacity of community based organizations in Papua New Guinea to effectively work within their communities to help reduce HIV associated stigma and discrimination (including violence) particularly against key populations (KP) of female sex workers (FSW) and men that have sex with men (MSM) in their National Capital District (NCD) communities.
