The U.S. Embassy Tokyo’s Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for entities to submit applications to create a sustainable academic, business, and/or people-to-people exchanges between the U.S. and Japanese cities currently serving as U.S. Host Towns.

Participants and Audiences: The Embassy will only consider proposals that are submitted by or in partnership with officially designated U.S. Host Towns. Potential participants could include: government representatives; academic institutions and staff; business leaders and entrepreneurs; start-ups; community leaders; cultural institutions; journalists and media organizations; and women and youth.
