U.S. Mission to the United Kingdom: Seeking Applications for Youth Exchange on Social Cohesion Programme

J. William Fulbright Foreign Student Program

Deadline: 13 February 2018

The Embassy of the United States in London is seeking applications for its Youth Exchange on Social Cohesion to develop and implement a 14 to 21-day group exchange program to the United States for up to 10 UK-based high school aged participants to focus on efforts in the U.S. to counter hate crimes and build community resilience to conflict. With a strong focus on community and engagement with American interlocutors, UK participants will immerse themselves in U.S. society through discussions, dialogue groups, workshops, site visits and professional appointments.

The exchange aims to provide an opportunity for young people to exchange ideas on how communities in the U.S. and UK promote hope and inclusion while standing up to hate and extremism
