The Severn Trent Water is now accepting applications for the 2022 Severn Trent Community Fund.
Themes
Projects must link to at least one of the key themes:
- Green spaces: Projects that create and enhance green spaces and offset carbon. Examples include creating new natural habitats, like ponds and wildflower meadows.
- Recycling and making the most of resources: Projects that help to reduce the carbon footprint of community spaces and activities. Examples include recycling and energy saving initiatives.
- Water saving heroes: Projects that preserve water and reduce water use. Projects like this will limit the amount of carbon used for water production. Examples include grey water recycling and rainwater harvesting.
Funding Information
- Eligible organisations can apply for £5,000, £10,000 or £20,000 of funding.
- The organisation must have an average annual income of less than £500,000 over the last three years.
Eligibility Criteria
You can apply for a grant if your organisation is not for profit with an annual income of less than £500,000 (averaged over the last 3 years) and you have a governing document.
Applications can be made by organisations including:
- Local Authority or Parish Council
- Charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) / foundation CIO
- Registered Company (limited by guarantee) / Community Interest Company
- Registered Charity
- Volunteer / community group
The proposed project must be located in the Severn Trent region and the community it is benefiting must be Severn Trent customers.
