Call for Proposals for Provision of Mobile Right-based Services – Kosovo

UN Women Uganda with financial support from the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative and the Government of Sweden is seeking Proposals from women-led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Local Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) with experience in strategic engagement of the mass media in Uganda to support the Uganda Media Council to strengthen the capacity of media houses (including TV and FM stations in targeted districts) through review/introduction of guidelines, training and dissemination of material to enhance publicity of gender responsive educational and developmental programmes on ending Violence Against women and girls and Harmful practices and promotion of Sexual Reproductive Health Rights.

The objective of this Call for Proposals is to develop and implement a project aimed at mobilizing the media to prioritize Gender Equality, Ending Harmful Practices and Violence Against Women and Girls and to Promote Sexual Reproductive Health Rights.

Proposals passing the eligibility criteria will be scored against the following:

Successful proposal(s) will be expected to be further developed as a Programme Document meeting UN Women standards and formatting requirements, with support from UN Women staff as required, to include high‐quality standards of programme strategy, monitoring and evaluation plans, results and resource framework, budget, etc.
