UN Women looking for Partnerships to implement Project supporting Women and Girls in Iraq

Call for Applications for Dialogue & Participation Grants for CSOs in the field of Climate Change, Women and Youth (Iraq)

To support the achievement of Japan Iraq intended outcomes, UN Women is looking for partnerships to deliver on supporting vulnerable women’s and girls under the project titled “Gender-responsive Management and Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Arab States Region: From Emergency Response to Recovery and Resilience”.

The activities include providing new sources of income and economic opportunities for marginalized women through cash-based interventions and capacity development, as well as increasing their access to required assets, skills and partnerships.

UN Women seeks for the National and local Civil Society Organizations based in Thi-Qar governorate (Nasyria city) to support vulnerable women in that area.  to reach at least 25 women and girls and their immediate families through the provision of relevant assets, goods and services towards stemming gender based violence and addressing employment issues in particular, It’s expected that 150 individual representing the families of the enrolled women and girls will get benefit from the cash for work.
