The Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) is a corporate programme of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) since 1992.

Funding Information

The GEF SGP is announcing a call for proposals to award small grants of up to US$100,000 to non-governmental organizations, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and community groups to undertake a systems analysis approach to the development and implementation of solutions that address upstream, midstream, and downstream management of plastic pollution, including baseline analysis, advocacy for policy development and implementation, development and implementation of waste management models, education and campaigns.

Geographical Area

The projects under this call should focus on Fuvahmulah City, Republic of the Maldives
