Deadline: 14-Mar-22
Two Ridings Community Foundation is seeking applications for Bettys and Taylors Group Coronavirus Community Fund as a part of their community support activity.
The Foundation is also keen to support groups where the work that they do can help local communities to reconnect and recover from some of the effects of the pandemic.
In response, the Bettys and Taylors Group Coronavirus Community Fund aims to support small groups working to improve the lives of local people with running and organisational development costs, where a small amount of money can make a real difference to their long-term sustainability.
Priority
- They will give priority to groups who:
- promote good health and wellbeing
- reduce inequalities
- reduce loneliness and social isolation
- are small, locally based organisations with a clear understanding of the needs you are supporting. (As a general rule, they consider small groups to be those with an annual income of under £200k. They base this on the most recent annual accounts. Please speak to their before making an application if your annual income is over this amount.)
Funding Information
- There are two levels of award available:
- Small grants of £500 to £1000
- Large grants of £1001 to £5000
Note: Please apply for either the £500-£1000 grant OR the £1001-£5000 grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- You can apply if your organisation is a:
- constituted voluntary and community group
- registered charity
- co-operative
- social enterprise
- community interest company (CICs will be subject to additional scrutiny as outlined in the grant-making policy).
What can I apply for?
- Small grants: You can apply for running costs.
- Large grants: You can apply for running costs. You must show how these funds will help you make a “step change”. Basically, they just want to know how your group will be better off at the end of the grant period. But please do not apply for capital costs alone, except where small equipment costs are part of a larger request. For example, you could apply for a laptop or computer to assist with administration, kitchen equipment, or learning resources.
