The Two Ridings Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its Cost of Living Crisis Fund.
The Cost of Living Crisis Fund has been created as a response to the spiralling cost of living. They expect demand will be high and it is likely only possible for them to make a contribution towards total project costs. The fund will enable groups to support their community during this crisis.
Funding Information
- Grants up to £2,000 – North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Hull, York
- These grants can be used to provide emergency support in the form of food support, fuel support or purchasing essential items for distribution to local people. It could also be used to enable your organisation to provide activities, or create a warm and welcoming space, for people affected by the cost of living crisis.
- Grants up to £5,000 – North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Hull, York
- For these grants they would expect funding to provide emergency support to local people as outlined (up to £2000). For community groups playing a significant role supporting their community, up to £3000 could also be used to support your core overheads.
- Grants up to £10,000 – North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire
- These grants are available for key community hubs in North and East Yorkshire. By that they mean community hubs providing activities for all people (aged between 0 and 90) throughout the week (i.e 7 days a week).

Eligibility Criteria
- You should meet the criteria:
- Be a not-for-profit organsiation
- Have a constitution/governing document
- Have at least 3 unrelated people on your management committee
- Have accounts (or if you are recently established a forecast for the year)
- Bank statement in the name of the organisation
