The Neag Foundation is accepting applications for its Grant Program to improve the lives and education of Connecticut and Pennsylvania families today and in years to come.
The Neag Foundation serves as a philanthropic force for positive change in education, healthcare, and the arts and humanities, and the initiatives are dedicated to improving the human condition and making a positive difference in the world. They support requests to improve and enhance education, human services and make a medical impact, primarily in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. They encourage creative educational ideas, as well as exciting initiatives for health and wellness. The mission is to make a positive impact and help people live healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
The Neag Foundation employs an organizational and grantmaking framework that reflects its core priorities. Foundation grants support organizations that provide direct services, through which the Foundation endeavors to create positive impact in the following priority areas:
- Promote health and health-related initiatives
- Prepare children, youth and adults for success in schools and in their communities
- Support the arts and art related initiatives
Through this work, the Neag Foundation hopes to positively impact the lives of families and children.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants will have documented 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Preference will be given to those projects that receive broad-based community support. Grant proposals may request funds for project funding, general operating funding, capacity building, or a combination of these.
Ineligible
- The Foundation does not grant to individuals, political, fraternal and/or civic organizations. Additionally, they do not participate in annual appeals, special event sponsorship requests or other letters of solicitation.
- Please note that Neag Foundation does not consider requests for: capital projects; general fundraising, annual appeals, or special events; Individuals; fraternal and/or civic organizations; political candidates or parties; political action; Committees (PACs) engaged in influencing legislation; debt reduction.
